river time....

we went to lake mead to celebrate marys birthday.... ( january 16th) her birthday falls on a long weekend for us since we have "teachers - for husbands"and they have off work for martin luther kings birthday.... : ) gotta love days off!!!! so we decided to head on out to the lake for some fun, games, birthday dinner and cooooollllllldddd weather.... mary and i headed out early in the morning with just us girls and the guys came out after work on that friday...... here are some pix from the weekend out there....

marys birthday-DAY

although we were planning a trip to the river to do the actual celebrating, Mary came over after a meeting on her birthday-day.....January 16th..... so we decided to suprise her.... the girls and I baked an angel food cake and hung out birthday sign on the door, a tradition in our house when its someones birthday.... we had a nice evening before she went to pick up Erics dad from work so they could head on home... we are having a lot of nice-Happy Days.... : ) yeah for birthdays- its always fun to have a reason to celebrate with family....

andrew webb...

Zack and Jessica Webb ( eric's cousin ) had their son Andrew Baptized on January 13th and we had the honor of going and participating along with the rest of our family.... a lot of us were able to make it which made it a special time to see one another and to commit to praying with Zach and Jess for Andrew and renewing our commitments to pray for Abbi and Ellie..... it was a nice time with family, a very important time to be a part of....
