Yay

Katie Moore and Kelli texted me to getj together today! Yay! So fun having people i haven't seen call and wanna hang out! Katie was a good friend from living hope church and moved up to Oregon. She and I got to see each other in Spokane and now down here! So fun catching up but wish it could have been a longer visit! Love you, Katie Moore!

Carlsbad beach

Beach days are the best! Carlsbad was beautiful today! Caelan surfed quite a bit but decided she was done for the day when she took a wave and wiped out! She lost track of the board and scared herself but she used the leash to bring the board back to her and did great getting back in to shore! Little surfer girl on daddy's short board! Proud of her! The day was stunning, a light breeze with 81 degrees! Ahhhhh! Pure bliss.

Caring for the animals

Nana and papas chickens need tending to every day. The girls go out and get the eggs each morning and they clean the coop. This is such a huge delight for the girls! They love it!!!!! The dogs have also had fun and they need taken care of too. They help feed them and care for them too! Our girls love animals!

Lunch with Grammy

Nana, papa, the girls, Eric and I picked Grammy up and went to ruby's in San Juan capistrano. It was such a nice and sweet time seeing her and chatting with her. It's been so long since we have seen her. This has been a blessed time being back in California. It's been delightful seeing everyone. We saw aunt susan and uncle mark after lunch too. So cool connecting with everyone. Many more people we still need to see! We haven't seen my mom yet! And we will venture up north too and see my grandpa and my dad. So much to do, in catching up with everyone. Three years is a long time to have moved away. It's good to be back. Hard dealing with the traffic but we try and plan our days to avoid it and that's worked perfectly! ;)

Birthday day!

Well, I'm 33 years old today. We started the day with a long run! Eric and I tango the park and met the family there. Then we walked home. Now we are just chilling at Eric's parents with the family and gonna have lettuce wraps for lunch. Good day! And a beautiful day! Really loving the sunshine and getting a nice California tan! ;)

Oceanside day!

Yesterday:
We spent the day in Oceanside collecting sea glass, shells and rocks. Then we went to rubys on the pier for a treat! A beautiful day at the beach! It's good to be back..... Today Eric got up and went to get his contract and paperwork sorted for one of the job offers. He didn't end up signing a contract. He was disappointed at their offer but luckily, on his way back he got a call from another district that he had interviewed for two weeks ago wants to meet again Thursday!!!! God knows best and we are grateful for Gods hand in all things. The time here has been so good so far! God has done some amazing and awesome things!!!!! We really feel Gods peace in it all.

San Diego wild animal park

Mike and Mary took us all to the wild animal park yesterday and they bought all four of us memberships for the year which will be a blast! It was a beautiful day at the park and a great time watching the kids have such fun! We finished the day with an ice cream from rite aid, the best! ;) in addition to all that we went to north coast church in Oceanside and listened to a phenomenal message that spoke to Eric and my heart and helped us mend some broken pieces in our life. It was so amazing watching God do things in our hearts and lives last night in church.
