Good eats and packing Mimi up!

Mimi is moving! We've been helping her clean things up, install smoke alarms for closing of escrow, and packing things up.... We've eaten out quite a bit with the business of her moving. It's been fun though!!!! All the yummy places we used to frequent and now we can hit the hot spots! Souplantation (my girls' favorite), Polly's pies for breakfast cinnamon rolls, in-n-out..... it's been a fabulous time being able to see so many people this trip, and wish we could see everyone..... It's been packed every day with events and things..... My kids are getting very very very tired out! We had uncle kips 60th surprise bday, we met my dad in old Sacramento, we had Eric's cousins wedding reception, our niece claire's bday, my birthday, I can't even list all we've done! Oh and jessica fuller's graduation party! It's been jam packed with fun and people!!!!!!

Up in Orange county

Yesterday we came up to OC to swim with my sister and hang out with my mom. Today we took the dogs to Huntington Beach, to play around at dog beach! They had a blast!!!!

Yesterday nana and papa took all of us to the San Diego wild animal park for caelans early birthday celebrations. It was a great time! We stopped at rite aid on the way home for an ice cream, caelans birthday treat pick. Yum yum!

Anniversary....

June 21st..... My gran and poppa were married on this day. Gosh, I miss them. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. They set the most amazing example for us. They loved purely, enjoyed life fully, served God with everything, and took care of everyone...... There are a lot amazing people that have been in this world, but they were two of the best.

Beach day!

I'll upload all of our vacation pix and journal more about the trip when we get home but here is one of Caelan LOVING being at the beach. We went to Carlsbad today for sun and sand and water fun. Eric brought three of his surf boards with us, and had the chance to get our two girls on the board for a paddle out and even took our niece Claire out on the surf board.... The day was going great, kids having fun..... Then BAMMMMM! a sting ray got Eric's foot!!!!!!! And it was awful!!!!! It was bleeding like crazy!!!! The lifeguard said he's never seen such a bad one! It was awful!!!!! I rush him home because protocol for those stings are soaking the foot in scalding hot water and taking asprin and adding hydrogen peroxide for preventing infection! What a day! Poor Eric! :( sad thing to have happen!

In-n-out

Yesterday we enjoyed a burger at in-n-out. I had my favorite low carb cheeseburger lettuce wrap (burger with no bun) and animal style fries,no sauce. So delicious! Fun times with Eric's parents.

Night alone

Eric had a surprise planned. A night away at the Sheraton in San Diego at the marina. Just the two of us. Time for us. Thankful for his parents that were willing to watch the girls for the night so we can have this time...... Happy birthday to me today. Bliss. Times like tonight are rare and oh so needed every now and again. So thankful for this. Such a blessed thing. Thankful for our friend James who hooked Eric up with the room! Wouldn't have had this night..... Goodnight-

For a soldier and his bride.

Eric's cousin Tommy, has been in the army and has been fighting for our country! We made this for them and gave it to them at their reception yesterday. A very special gift, made just for them. Very excited to have delivered this one.

Walking partners
