Park night!

The other night we enjoyed a walk at the park, dinner at Red Robin and
Play time for the girls after! Such a beautiful summer night walking the shops and enjoying time together....

Open house!

Our school had open house last night! Before school has even started! It's genius, bring your school supplies,
Meet your teacher, pay for yearbooks and assembly dues, and then,
A free spaghetti dinner!!!!! Here are the photos of the girls with their new teachers. They're super excited

Projects!

Tearing out the dog run to flatten out a
Side yard so we can have the trampoline set up and a more functional space than a weird shaped dog run!

1st sleep over. Ever.

We've never had a "sleep over" at our house, ever...... I promised the girls that if we moved back we could have Kate and Therese spend the night.....
Well, last night was the night.....
Pizza for dinner, with cheesy bread and veggies and dip.....
And for breakfast, Mini pancakes! Simple meals.
Lots of "just dance" on the Wii and Xbox! Lots of laughter! And staying up way too late for this mom!

right before we moved, we took some pictures with my mom and my sister... love having a tripod to take photos.... would be nice to have a photographer some time, but the last several years, the tripod has worked just fine. :)

Poor kid

Today Caelan got attacked by bees/wasps! :( several stings and a whole lot of screaming later..... She's calm but still whimpering. I cannot imagine how bad it hurts. I feel so bad for her.... Wish I could take the pain away..... :(

Abby Rae's 8th birthday

Abby Rae turned 8! So we headed to Spokane this last weekend for her birthday party. Fun seeing everyone there..... Jackie and Jerry, Joan and Brent, and Aunt Susie and Uncle Mike. Kids had fun playing and emery is just a doll! Loved hanging with her!

A simple saturday....

Went to pawn shop after pawn shop and good will after good will searching for a chain saw..... Found a spectacular deal on one!!!! Came with a 20" blade, a 16" blade, a big case for all of it.... And a warranty! 149 bucks! Not something we wanted to spend money on right now but after learning our furnace and heat pump need replaced, we figured we needed heat! So the fireplace will give us warmth until we can figure out replacing our furnace and heat pump...... On our way home at the Clark house we spotted several deer :) love living the country side!

Part 2.

Vetrans wall of healing....

The traveling wall of healing came through our town. We went this morning to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers..... They also had a global war of terror tribute and several other remembrance pieces. In addition, they had a museum with archives and such from all the wars.... It was so neat to be able to attend such an event.... It was extremely touching when a retired Vietnam vet played amazing grace on the bag pipes..... Emotions were so high with the men and women there that fought the war or lost ones in the war as they found their loved ones name on the wall..... So many lives lost, paying the ultimate sacrifice..... Bless their families..... Bless the soldiers that fight today for our freedoms.....
