Ice cream with cousins

Friday we had ice cream after school with the cousins.

Certain things

Riley has a new obsession..... She's still obsessed with cars!
Ugh.
But, now she's on to this nightgown. She has worn it every single night since my mom bought it. (Thanks Mimi)

She asks me in the morn if I am going to forget to wash it.... She then asks me in the afternoon if I've washed it, so she can wear it at bed time. She's obsessed over it! She dances around every night in the thing. She loves it!

Doctor visit

Weather.

Too hot! More like summer. Where did spring go???? :(

Repairs....

The truck was making noise....
We heard it make this noise about 4 months ago but when we took it in to the dealer it wasn't making the noise..... Well we video taped the noise this time and took the truck right over....
It was the left front hub and wheel barring..... 890 dollars but luckily we had a 10 percent off coupon so it brought it down a little.
Tough having this huge cost on the repair work..... We are working so hard to save money! Working so hard to save money to buy a house.... Feels like its been one thing after another lately with stuff.....
Glad we have a savings account to take care of things but really hoping our savings account will be getting us in a house this summer!!! God willing! We have been tithing faithfully our 10 percent and God says if we are faithful he will provide.... Trusting that there will be a way to make up the money we have had to put towards the truck this month.... We are on a strict savings plan for a house and need to save a certain amount to make things work.... Praying and trusting and hopeful it is all gonna work out.... And all the sacrificing we have been making it going to pay off! When we finally get into a house it will be the most exciting thing ever! It will be beautiful! We have worked so hard the last two years toward this goal. It will all pay off soon! Trusting Gods plan and trusting in God for Eric's job situation.... He's applied for 5-6 jobs..... Hopeful he will move forward in his career!
God knows our needs. Our desires. Our hearts.

Friends!

The Barnes family came to town!!! They were some of our closest friends in Idaho that moved to Northern California when we moved to Southern California from Idaho.
We had such a great time with them last night. So good to see them!
They are such a blessing to us.

Baptism

My mom was baptized yesterday at a baptism service her church had. Eric, the girls and I attended, as well as Lonna. There were about 20 people or so that were baptized.

In memory of Timmy.

Thursday and Friday we had services for Eric's cousin Timmy. It was a hard week and a hard weekend...... It has really rocked the family to its core. Such a hard thing to grasp. It's always hard when people choose their own time to go. Praying for Christy, and Tim and Jordan and Josh..... It's a tough road ahead for the family....
Please be praying for the family.
